THE ROLE

On behalf of our Leicester Client, we are seeking to recruit a Venue Host on a flexible basis. 

Our client is a unique family-run entertainment business offering an immersive attraction that has generated millions of organic social media views. With a successful flagship venue in Leicester city centre, the business has ambitious plans for national expansion across the UK.

We're looking for confident, energetic Venue Hosts to deliver an exciting guest experience. 

  • You'll safely operate the attraction, guide guests through the experience, and create memorable moments. 
  • No experience needed—just personality, confidence, and great customer energy.
Hours: Flexible, built around our busiest times across evenings, weekends and school holidays

Expected start date: August 2026 

Expected end date: Ongoing

Expected interview date: TBC

Rate of pay: £12.71

Holiday Pay: £1.53

Duties and responsibilities

  • Run the human claw and step on machine safely, every time, following the operating and safeguarding procedures exactly
  • Greet every guest like they made the right call walking in 
  • Keep the plush pit stocked and the floor moving so nobody stands around waiting
  • Talk guests through tokens and the arcade games, and get them playing more
  • Keep children safe and parents relaxed at all times
  • Capture quick clips and photos of the best reactions for our socials
  • Keep the space clean, safe and buzzing across every shift
  • Bring the same energy whether it is your first guest of the day or your fiftieth

Skills and experience

  • Real front of house energy and a genuine love of people, children and families especially
  • Calm and switched on around moving equipment, because safety is never optional here
  • Reliable and on time, happy to work evenings, weekends and school holidays when we are busiest
  • Confident on camera and comfortable being part of the content
  • Warm, clear spoken communication with guests of every age
  • A personality that lights up a room
  • A basic DBS check will be carried out as part of onboarding
  • Desirable (Not Essential)
  • Experience in hospitality, events, childcare, performance or customer facing roles
  • First aid training
  • Any interest or experience in content creation
  • Experience hosting parties or working with children
