Role
We are recruiting a student to design a user friendly SharePoint site for the Business and Enterprise team that hosts all the content for a new (pilot) online course for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop a user friendly SharePoint page for a new online course. This page will host all the content required for the participant to work through the 5-stages of the programme.
- Liaise with academics and professional services staff to gather feedback on the user experience of the SharePoint site and apply recommendations.
- Pre-set updates on the SharePoint site to the project team (management and entrepreneurs-in-residence).
- Work closely with our HWU IT team to resolve any uncertainties around the page build.
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Good communication skills
- Strong understanding of MS packages (Teams, Excel, Word etc)
- Strong IT skills including prior experience building a SharePoint site
- Good understanding of online user experience (UX/UI)
- A self-motivated, hard-working individual that can work well individually and as part of a team.
- Must be confident in delivering short presentations on a work-based project to a small group of people.
- An understanding of what support the Business and Enterprise team offer
- An understanding on the skills an aspiring founder may need to learn
- Prior experience of learning via online course materials
