Role

Only for current MDX students and recent graduates
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a hands-on role in shaping how a key University system performs from a user perspective. You will help test and refine our Content Management System (PaCMan), which holds all programme and module information across the University.
 
Working from a user experience viewpoint, you will support the testing of our Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) and newly developed training materials by inputting, reviewing, and validating data. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring the system is accurate, user-friendly, and ready for rollout across the institution.
 
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys data entry and validation and possesses excellent attention to detail.
 
As part of the QETE team, you’ll gain valuable insight into a professional working environment, while building transferable skills in data handling, digital systems, and academic quality assurance.
 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Learn about the University’s new Content Management System (called PaCMan).
  • Input data onto Pacman using Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs).
  • Review, audit, and refine data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Contribute feedback on system usability and the effectiveness of training materials.

Skills and experience
Essential

  • Interest in data entry and auditing of data
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a self-directed way as well as part of the team
  • Logical thinking to work through tasks in a structured and methodical way
Desirable
  • Studying in a relevant area such as IT, Education (with a digital learning focus), Digital Media, Communications, Business Administration.
  • Experience of data entry and/or data auditing.
  • Interest in process driven systems.

Location
In-person only (Hendon campus or business office)
