Role
An exciting opportunity is available to join our Admissions & Applicant Experience team within our Marketing & Stakeholder Engagement department.

 
The Admissions & Applicant Experience Team is responsible for delivering a professional customer-focused service to all prospective applicants applying to the university.
 
We are looking for someone who has good analytical skills and, where possible, previous experience of working in a customer-focused role. You will be providing guidance and support applications being processed. The successful candidate will be responsible for the admission of applicants to the University of Gloucestershire, with specific responsibilities for a range of programmes as part of our portfolio.
 

We will be looking for a recent graduate or confident current student with strong analytical skills. You would need to be comfortable in working on a variety of databases and platforms at the same time and able to pick up and learn and digest detailed information quickly.

Experience in a busy customer facing workplace would be an advantage.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Managing a portfiolio of courses and assessing applications for entry to the university (through detailed training)
  • Answer emails, phone calls and live chat in relation to enquiries and applicant questions.

Skills and experience

  • Good administrative skills 
  • Previous experience in maintaining databases or detailed spreadsheets
  • Good communication skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision and as part of a team
