Description
Role
Planning, producing and editing a range of content to enhance Warwick Sport social media platforms. Content types will include short-form video, photography, facilitating takeovers (must be confident with face to camera), interviews and on-the-ground coverage.
Duties and responsibilities
- Work with Active and Wellness team to identify content opportunities.
- Help the Digital Engagement Officer to populate content calendars with content such as ‘come with me to rock up or active leagues’, interviews with activators, day in the life showcasing how rock ups or active leagues fit into uni lifestyle etc.
- Organise and facilitate social media takeovers, on the ground coverage, and short-form videos, ensuring appropriate consent has been captured and filed securely.
- Edit final content and share with the Digital Engagement team for amends/approval.
- Comply with all University and Warwick Sport Brand Guidelines
Skills and experience
- Experience of social media content creation.
- Experience of video production and editing.
- Understanding of social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, including video functionality.
- Understanding of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) procedures when capturing content for social media.
- Current Warwick student.
