Role
DIS will be hosting two Transition to Study Event Days for the upcoming September 2026 intake of students who have declared a disability, medical condition, or neurodiversity. We would like current students or recent graduates from the University to support staffing on the events. 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Directing students to the sign in desk in the morning
  • Attending the morning sessions with the students and getting involved in any activities
  • Directing any students who have further questions back to DIS for a final drop in
  • Chatting with people, sharing your experience as a student if they ask you any questions
  • having a base knowledge of the various support the university offers to direct the students to is desirable but not mandatory

  • Great communication skills
  • Problem solving abilities
