Role
The Operating Department Practice (ODP) course are looking for current students to work as ambassadors for the department, supporting the ODP department in marketing events such as face to face and digital open days, offer holder days and interview days for our undergraduate programme. 

 
Working days: The next University of Leicester Open Day is on Saturday 4th July, and we are looking for students who are available to work on this day, and on future Open Days.

Duties and responsibilities

  • To positively promote the study of ODP at the University of Leicester
  • To assist in facility tours
  • To answer prospective students questions on student experiences whilst studying on the course
  • When invited, to contribute to the interview process for prospective student candidates
  • To interact positively with other members of the ODP department

Skills and experience
Essential

  • Currently studying on the ODP Practice BSc Degree course here at the University of Leicester
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Ability to communicate with a range of people
  • Friendly and welcoming
  • Good communication skills with a passion for the course
  • Proactive in communication
