Role
Support the field crops academic researchers at Harper Adams in the collection and analysis of field data from arable trials sites at HAU and a commercial farm in Derbyshire.

Duties and responsibilities
Person required to hand-harvest cereals in the field. There may be travel to the trial site (transport provided). Count, measure and weigh crop samples in the laboratory. Record data into spreadsheets.

Work either unsupervised or collaboratively with the project partner's staff or HAU staff . Work locations include the project partner's farm in Derbyshire, and HAU's strip cropping field and field assessment laboratory. 

Skills and experience
Organised, reliable and conscientious with attention to detail in labelling and recording samples. Able to maintain high standards of accuracy when doing repetitive tasks. Able to use MS Excel. Safety-conscious in a field and laboratory environment.
