Join a growing business and help drive new client relationships in a high-demand, safety-critical technology sector.
They are looking for a driven and results-focused New Business Sales Executive to join their expanding sales team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys opening doors, building new relationships, and turning conversations into genuine commercial opportunities.
You will be promoting innovative safety and video telematics solutions, working with prospective customers across multiple sectors, and contributing directly to the continued growth of the business.
With strong demand across the plant side of our business, this is an exciting time to join and play a direct role in helping us expand our reach, strengthen our pipeline, and support the next phase of growth.
Working days and hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, 1 hours lunch break.
Salary is £26,500 + Commission.

This position is Hybrid - Remote/Office based.
Duties and responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Proactively identify and engage new prospects across construction, quarrying, waste and recycling, rail, demolition, agriculture, forestry, ports and shipping, manufacturing and warehousing, events, and military and defence sectors
- Generate high-quality leads through outbound activity including calls, email, networking, and industry engagement
- Book and secure qualified meetings and product demonstration
- Identify and target customers of specific types, sectors, and supply chains
Pipeline & Opportunity Management
- Respond to inbound plant enquiries, qualify opportunities, and progress them to handover stage
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Track activity and opportunity progress accurately within the CRM
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate closely with marketing, technical sales, and account management teams to support lead preparation, document handling, smooth handover, and opportunity conversion
- Ensure qualified opportunities are clearly communicated and progressed effectively through the defined sales process
- Provide regular feedback on prospect activity, market response, pipeline progress, and sales development trends
- Share insight from customer conversations and sector engagement to help refine targeting and support wider business growth
Skills and experience
You will be confident, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a high-activity, target-driven environment.
You should be commercially focused, resilient, and able to build strong relationships while keeping momentum across multiple opportunities.
Experience in or knowledge of construction, plant, safety systems, or industrial sectors would be highly desirable, but attitude, drive, and strong communication skills are just as important.
Essential:
- Experience in outbound sales and lead generation
- Comfortable operating in a high-activity, target-driven environment
- Able to create and work with key documents such as presentations, forms, and quotes
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, confident, resilient, and commercially focused
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience in construction, plant, safety systems, or industrial sectors
- Experience selling into relevant sectors, supply chains, or target customer groups
- Willingness to travel regularly as part of the role
