Role

Our client are looking for a motivated and creative graduate to join their team and help build and grow their marketing presence across digital and offline channels.

This is a hands-on role in a growing technology and safety-focused business, where you’ll get involved in everything from managing their website and creating content to supporting campaigns and working alongside the sales team.

If you’re someone who enjoys variety, likes taking ownership and wants to develop a broad marketing skillset, this is a great opportunity to get started.

Working days and hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, 1 hour lunch break. This position is Hybrid - Remote/Office based. 

Duties and responsibilities

Website & Digital Presence

  • Manage and maintain the company website (content updates, new pages, product launches)
  • Develop and maintain landing pages to support marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Apply SEO best practices to improve website visibility and performance
  • Monitor website performance (traffic, conversions and engagement)

Content Creation & Branding

  • Create and develop marketing materials such as:
    • Brochures and datasheets
    • Sales presentations
    • Case studies and customer success stories
    • Point-of-sale materials
  • Ensure all content is consistent with Spillard branding and tone of voice
  • Contribute ideas and content for campaigns and marketing activity

Social Media & Campaign Management

  • Plan and manage social media activity (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Create engaging posts using text, images and video
  • Support and contribute to paid campaigns where required
  • Track engagement and continuously improve performance

Marketing Campaign Delivery

  • Support and deliver marketing campaigns across digital channels, contributing to lead generation aligned with sales targets
  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns (content, scheduling and tracking)
  • Suggest ideas to improve brand awareness and market reach

Sales & Commercial Support

  • Work closely with the sales team to develop high-quality sales collateral
  • Support and develop proposals, presentations and customer-facing materials
  • Help capture and promote installation activity and customer success stories

Events & Promotions

  • Support the planning and delivery of exhibitions, trade shows and customer events
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials and displays
  • Contribute to promotional campaigns and partnerships

General Marketing Development

  • Contribute to building a structured, continuous (“always-on”) marketing function
  • Help maintain a pipeline of content, campaigns and ongoing activity
  • Stay up to date with marketing trends, tools and technologies                                                                               

Skills and experience

We’re not expecting you to know everything; this is a graduate role.

What matters most is your attitude, organisation and willingness to learn.

You don’t need experience in all areas, but you should be confident learning new tools and taking ownership of your work.

Essential:

  • Degree (or final year) in Marketing, Business, Digital Media or similar
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail
  • Confident using IT systems and digital tools
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Willingness to take ownership and see tasks through
  • Commercial awareness and interest in business
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress)
  • Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools
  • Social media management tools
  • Basic knowledge of SEO or Google Analytics
