Welcome and Arrivals Student Ambassador

Pay Rate: £ 12.71 per hour
Holiday Pay Rate: £ 1.53 per hour
Location: University of Nottingham, Jubilee Campus and University Park Campus
Dress Code: Smart Casual
Duties and responsibilities
Ambassadors will work across a range of high-profile student-facing activities, including:
- Supporting Student Service Centres and enquiry points
- Assisting with registration and ID card collection events
- Providing directions and signposting to key services
- Supporting the Visa and Immigration Team where needed
- Managing queues and helping deliver an organised, welcoming experience
Skills and experience
- Act as a positive ambassador for the University
- Welcome and support new and returning students
- Answer queries and direct students to appropriate services
- Manage queues and support busy service environments
- Assist with ID checks and card collection processes
- Triage enquiries and escalate where appropriate
- Provide reassurance and practical guidance during peak periods
