Description

Role
We are seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst for a 12–13 week contract to support improvements in pricing data management, distributor performance reporting and CRM-to-order forecasting alignment.

The role will focus on streamlining global price list management, enhancing distributor insights reporting, and improving the linkage between HubSpot CRM deals and SAP order forecasting. The position requires strong Excel/data management skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to design scalable processes.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Global Price List Optimisation

  • Review current global price list structures and identify opportunities to standardise formats across regions.
  • Develop a centralised pricing model where price updates, product additions, and changes are managed in a single master worksheet.
  • Implement automation and linked worksheets so updates automatically cascade to all regional price lists.
  • Design the solution to support long-term stability, assuming the structure will remain unchanged for several years.
  • Document the structure and processes for ongoing internal use.

2. UKI Distributor Reporting

  • Build and enhance monthly distributor performance reports for the UK & Ireland market.
  • Provide key commercial insights, including:
  • Year-on-year growth analysis
  • Product category performance (e.g., cladding vs decking split)
  • Distributor sales trends and performance metrics
  • Address the added complexity of parent and branch-level distributor structures.
  • Align reporting format where possible with existing International Distributor Monthly Reporting.

3. HubSpot Deals vs SAP Orders Alignment

  • Review the current process linking HubSpot CRM deals with SAP sales orders and forecasts.
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies between CRM pipeline data and order data.
  • Develop improved methods or reporting to strengthen forecasting accuracy.
  • Propose or implement practical improvements to better connect the sales pipeline with operational order data.

By the end of the contract, the successful candidate is expected to deliver:

  • A standardised and automated global price list structure
  • A robust monthly UKI distributor reporting dashboard
  • Improved visibility between HubSpot deals and SAP orders, with recommendations or implemented solutions
  • Clear documentation and handover materials for ongoing internal use

Skills and experience

Essential

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, complex formulas, linked workbooks, data modelling)
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills
  • Experience working with sales data, pricing structures, or distributor reporting
  • Ability to design efficient, scalable data processes

Desirable

  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Experience with SAP or ERP sales order data
  • Experience creating automated reporting dashboards
  • Commercial or sales operations exposure
