Role
UCL has had a Brand refresh, and we're creating a new library of UCL photography that reflects our new look and feel. We're inviting UCL students to be the face of our refreshed brand. Whether you're an undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD student, we want to showcase the personality behind our diverse student community.
As a Brand Student Model, you will take part in professional photography sessions across UCL campuses and selected London locations. You will work closely with photographers, fellow students and the Brand team to create engaging imagery that reflects the diversity and vibrancy of the UCL community.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain modelling experience in a professional and supportive environment while representing one of the world's leading universities.
Photoshoots will take place between 4 June and 22 June, with a minimum commitment of half a day. Applicants are not expected to be available on every date.
Duties and responsibilities
- Represent UCL positively and enthusiastically throughout photoshoots.
- Participate in professional photography sessions at UCL and London locations.
- Work collaboratively with photographers, Brand colleagues and fellow student models.
- Follow artistic direction and guidance from the photographer.
- Take part in both indoor and outdoor photography sessions.
- Arrive punctually and be prepared for scheduled shoots.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability during photoshoots.
- Maintain a professional and responsible approach at all times.
- Travel independently to photography locations as required.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Current UCL student (undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD).
- Enthusiastic about UCL and promoting the university.
- Comfortable being photographed and appearing in marketing materials.
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Able to work effectively with others.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Able to follow instructions and creative direction.
- Available to attend photoshoots between 4 June and 22 June.
- Able to travel to UCL and Central London photography locations.
Desirable
- Interest in photography, media, marketing, modelling or brand promotion.
- Applying with friends or as part of a group (applications must still be submitted individually).
- Previous experience in front of a camera, although this is not required.

*Please note to be eligible to work within this role, you must have the right to work in the UK, be physically based in the UK and be able to travel to our London based office for a RTW check (if required).
