The Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions team are looking to appoint a Digital Content Creator to work on a 12-month placement in support of the University’s student recruitment objectives within the School of Nursing & Advanced Practice. You will be expected to work 2 days per week.

Duties and responsibilities

  • As a member of the Marketing Team, you will be responsible for the creation of digital content which will be shared across social media platforms. 
  • You will be further responsible for representing the University at promotional exhibitions and support school/college events where the objective is to market LJMU and promote the opportunities Higher Education provides.

Skills and experience

  • The successful candidate will be professional and well organised, should have an outgoing personality, exceptional communication skills and be confident in delivering presentations to prospective students. 
  • The successful candidate will further possess a strong knowledge of social media platforms.
  • You will have experience using editing tools like Capcut and Canva or equivalent, and be confident in producing engaging, audience-focused content.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential. Experience of working with the public, the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment, flexibility of approach and a willingness to acquire new skills as required are all essential for this post.
  • Holding a driving licence is desirable, but not essential.
