Role
Are you a registered University of Salford student who enjoys content planning and coordination? The library has a position open for Content Creation that may be a fit for you.
Duties and responsibilities
The following initiatives are planned and require immediate support:
- Redesign and refresh marketing materials, including the Library and Careers welcome booklets
- Video Content Development, including guidance videos that illustrate key student journeys and promote accessibility features in the library
- Social Media Planning and Scheduling for the onboarding period to ensure consistent messaging across channels
- Digital Wayfinding for the new Library Renovation which includes a 360 tour. This is to ensure students can locate collections when they arrive back onto campus
Skills and experience
- Ability to design flyers, booklets and information in a professional and creative manner
- Skilled in creating engaging content (videos, student stories, social posts, guides) that helps new students feel welcomed and confident
- Social Media planning and scheduling, using all social media platforms and channels
- Familiarity with library spaces, collections, and user navigation needs
- Ability to plan and schedule social media posts during student onboarding to keep messages clear and consistent across all channels
