Unitemps at the University of Gloucestershire is looking to recruit graduates for a unique practice within the West Midlands. The company attend to the affairs of many high-profile individuals in the international entertainment, sport and media industries and provide niche specialist advice in that sector.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Supporting associates with a portfolio of clients and taking responsibility for ensuring that any ad-hoc tasks are prepared to a high standard and on a timely basis.
  • Preparation of personal tax returns for a small, dedicated client list and assisting in the preparation of more complicated tax returns.
  • Developing initial skills for handling tax issues for clients including liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Requesting, tracking and gathering information for client tax returns with the main aim being to help associates and managers complete any compliance related tasks. Full study support will be provided towards obtaining professional qualifications.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels 
  • Attention to detail, ensuring that all work prepared is to a high standard 
  • Committed to learning and maintaining their technical knowledge to a high level 
  • Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and focus 
  • Ambitious and driven individual who is looking to progress 
  • Competent using MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Role based at Bromsgrove
