Role

Unitemps University of Gloucestershire is looking to recruit graduates for a unique practice within the West Midlands. The company attend to the affairs of many high-profile individuals in the international entertainment, sport and media industries and provide niche specialist advice in that sector. 

This provides amazing opportunities for the right person to develop specialist skills and experience - an opportunity that would not exist in most accountancy & tax advisory practices.

Duties and responsibilities

Supporting associates with a portfolio of clients and taking responsibility for ensuring that any ad-hoc tasks are prepared to a high standard and on a timely basis.

Preparation of accounts for a small, dedicated client list and assisting in the preparation of more complicated corporation tax returns and management figures.

Requesting, tracking and gathering information from clients, with the main aim being to help associates complete any compliance related tasks. Full study support will be provided towards obtaining professional qualifications.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Attention to detail, ensuring that all work prepared is to a high standard
  • Committed to learning and maintaining their technical knowledge to a high level
  • Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and focus
  • Ambitious and driven individual who is looking to progress
  • Competent using MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
