Role

Warwick Accommodation requires 3 allocation assistants to support the Allocations Team during their busy summer period (15th July to 30th September). Training will be provided.

Hours will be up to 36.5 hours per week in a 5 over 7 weekly pattern.

Maximum hours will be Monday to Thursday 9am till 5pm and Friday 9am till 4pm but there will be some weekend work required especially later on in the contract. Flexibility in hours/working extra hours would be desirable during busy periods.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Main duties- answering telephone enquiries, responding to email queries, managing the live chat, data entry in system, updating excel spreadsheets.
  • Other duties- supporting the Allocation team in their duties. 
  • You will be expected to deliver a high standard of customer service and maintain customer confidentiality. 

Skills and experience

  • Applicants need to be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook email and databases
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Maintain confidentiality in line with GDPR
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident telephone manner to handle difficult conversations
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience of working in a customer environment
