Role
We are currently recruiting for a Student Recruitment Assistant to work on a temporary contract at our Tooting campus.
Duties and responsibilities
Enquiries management
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all courses offered on the Tooting Campus, including key selling points and brand messages tied to the overarching University brand.
• Manage enquiries about programmes at Tooting campus, City St George’s via email to a high standard, providing relevant information and guidance - adhering to set protocols, processes and service level agreements (e.g. response times).
• Work closely with the Admissions Team and other relevant teams to ensure an accurate understanding of Admissions policies and procedures and how these relate to queries and concerns of prospective students.
• Manage frustrated or upset enquirers in a diplomatic and professional manner with high levels of customer service and empathy.
• Maintain a central bank of resources to enable a consistent and accurate approach to enquiry management, taking the lead on regularly updating and seeking out new information to enhance these resources.
Skills and experience
Customer focused, with experience of working in a service-led environment.
High level of attention to detail.
The ability to work autonomously and to manage time effectively.
Competent use of Microsoft Office tools, specifically Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook.
