Role
The School of Education, Learning and Communication Sciences at the University of Warwick are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented colleague to join their team as a Student Experience & External Engagement Administrator on a temporary basis until 12 February 2027.
This is a part-time post of 14 hours per week. This may be worked as two full days or three shorter days.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communications, events, and student engagement, while contributing to projects that enhance the student experience and support external engagement.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assisting in the production of engaging digital and printed student communications
- Sourcing and selecting appropriate images to support digital and print content
- Proofreading a range of communications to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Supporting the delivery of events, including (but not limited to) welcome week events, graduation, student experience activities and recruitment events inc. open days.
- Creating and scheduling social media content across relevant platforms
- Providing general administrative and project support as required
Skills and experience
Essential criteria:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to think creatively and problem solve
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail
- Confident using social media platforms in a professional context
- An interest in communications, marketing, and/or student engagement
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Desirable criteria:
- Experience of working in a communications, marketing or student experience environment
