Role
This role is an exciting opportunity for you to support the design and development on online training materials for our new Content Management System. This system holds all the University’s programme and module information and we need to create the online material that will train all staff across the University on how to use the system. The role is ideal for someone with strong digital and communication skills, attention to detail and an interest in creating online support materials.
Duties and responsibilities
- Learn about the University’s new Content Management System (called PaCMan).
- Learn how to use the online system used to create the content.
- Create online bite-sized learning resources for staff new to PaCMan.
- Working from Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs), create guidelines/support materials for staff new to PaCMan.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Interest in communications and digital resources and enthusiastic to learn more about these areas.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a self-directed way as well as part of the team.
- Logical thinking to work through tasks in a structured and methodical way.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint packages.
- Studying in a relevant area such as IT, Education (with a digital learning focus), Digital Media, Communications, Business Administration.
- Experience of creating online resources or support materials.
- Interest in process driven systems.

In-person only (Hendon campus or business office)
