Role
Duties and responsibilities
-
Conduct a review of the cultural and faith based events programme for 2025/26, including attendance data, student feedback and evaluation documents.

Research how comparable student unions approach their cultural and events programme.

Design and run a short student/staff survey or focus group with student leaders from faith and cultural societies to gather insight.

Analyse findings and produce a clear written report and presentation with data-led recommendations for the 2026–27 cultural events programme

Complete the development of a resources pool for the events programme including event concept documents, timelines, risk assessments and budgets.

Attend all scheme activities including induction, regular check-ins with your supervisor, and mandatory Careers & Futures reflective learning sessions
Skills and experience
Essential

Currently enrolled as a Middlesex University student

Interest in event management and improving the student experience

Good written and verbal communication skills

Strong organisational skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent
Desirable

An interest in creating opportunities for the diverse MDX community
