Description
Role
Assisting in the effective administration of the recruitment and admissions process for the Full-time MBA programme and to provide a high-quality service to all relevant stakeholders including enquirers, current students, academics and alumni.
This will be a 12 week assignment based between Warwick Business School and some home working.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provide effective and comprehensive customer focused administrative support for the MBA.
- Act as the first point of contact for enquiries from potential applicants and provide administrative support to ensure that accurate and timely admissions decisions are made and communicated to applicants.
- Assist in the maintenance of accurate records (i.e. from pre-application to onboarding) through data held on customer relationship and management information systems, ensuring the timely provision of information to internal and external stakeholders as required (e.g. applicants, sponsors, current students, faculty, other University departments).
- Process applications into an appropriate format for academic selectors, including pre-screening applicants against agreed criteria and communicating application decisions reached by the academic selectors (e.g. in cases where there is clear evidence to demonstrate that the applicant does not meet the minimum criteria for the course or programme for which they have applied).
- Provide administrative support for the selection process, including providing access to online assessments to candidates, processing submissions, timely release of confirmed marks and feedback.
- Provide flexible support for related teams as required.
Skills and experience
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent
- Experience of working in an administrative environment, dealing with queries and providing advice and guidance
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent customer focused skills
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a flexible team environment
- Experience of maintaining electronic records on a management information system
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills through a range of relevant media (e.g. face to face, email, telephone)
- Proficient IT skills including word processing, databases, spread sheets and presentation software
Desirable
- Experience of working within a HE environment.

Warwick Business School and working from home (combination)
