Role
A Research Assistant is required to support the activities of a team within the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre, University of Nottingham (Hearing Sciences). The role holder will help with the refinement and further development of an online behaviour change toolkit to support hearing aid users. There will also be opportunities to learn about related research and knowledge exchange activities.
Start Date: 14/05/26 – To be arranged directly with the Hiring Manager
End Date: 30/06/26
Working hours: Monday to Friday, between 9:00am and 6:00pm. This is a part-time role of 16 hours per week, up to a maximum of 64 hours in total.
Pay Rate: £18.36 per hour
Holiday Pay Rate: £2.22 per hour
Location: Remote or NIHR Nottingham BRC Hearing, Ropewalk House, 113 The Ropewalk, Nottingham NG1 5DU
Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct evidence searches
- Collate and summarise key scientific articles
- Act as a liaison between the research team and charity partner
Skills and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in literature searching
- Experience in writing literature reviews (desirable)
