Harper Adams Unitemps is pleased to be partnering with a family-run farm attraction based in Shropshire, to source friendly and reliable students to support them during their busy seasonal periods.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students who enjoy working outdoors, are comfortable around animals, and love engaging with the general public.
Duties and responsibilities
The Role
As a Farm Tour Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring visitors have a positive, welcoming, and informative experience on the farm. Duties will vary and may include:
- Assisting with guided farm tours and visitor activities
- Welcoming and engaging with members of the public, including families and school groups
- Supporting day-to-day farm tour operations
- Helping out where required around the site during busy periods
- Ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for visitors at all times

- Friendly, approachable, and confident communicators
- Happy working outdoors and near farm animals
- Comfortable dealing with the general public of all ages
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to help where needed
- Able to work during peak seasonal and busy periods
Skills and experience
No previous experience is required as full guidance will be provided, but an interest in farming, agriculture, animals or tourism would be an advantage.
