Harper Adams Unitemps is pleased to be partnering with a family-run farm attraction based in Shropshire, to source friendly and reliable candidates to support them during their busy seasonal periods.
This is a fantastic opportunity for people who enjoy working outdoors, have experience of working with animals, and love engaging with the general public.
Duties and responsibilities
The Role
As a Farm Tour Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring visitors have a positive, welcoming, and informative experience on the farm. Duties will vary and may include:
- Assisting with guided farm tours and visitor activities
- Welcoming and engaging with members of the public, including families and school groups
- Supporting day-to-day farm tour operations
- Helping out where required around the site during busy periods
- Ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for visitors at all times

- Friendly, approachable, and confident communicators
- Happy working outdoors and near farm animals
- Comfortable dealing with the general public of all ages
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to help where needed
- Able to work during peak seasonal and busy periods
Skills and experience
No previous experience in tourism is required as full guidance will be provided, but a passion for engaging with the general public would be an advantage.
