Description

Role

The purpose of this role will be to assist and support a short-term project for a stakeholder engagement and care pathway analysis programme related to a digital intervention in adult audiology. The role involves supporting stakeholder mapping, coordinating, and administering interviews, managing survey distribution, and assisting with qualitative data analysis and reporting. The postholder will work closely with Dr Emma Broome to ensure research activities are delivered on time and to the required standard. This is a fixed-term, casual role approx. Total 112 hours before 30 Jun 26.

Start Date: 18/05/2026

End Date: 30/06/2026

Working Hours: Approximately 14 Hours Per Week – To be arranged directly by the Hiring Manager.

Pay Rate: £17.02 per hour

Holiday Pay Rate: £2.05 per hour 

Location: Ropewalk House, 113 Ropewalk, Nottingham, NG1 6HA

Duties and responsibilities

  • To undertake supervised research, including stakeholder mapping, planning, preparing, conducting semi-structured interviews and assisting with survey administration within the framework of an agreed programme.
  • To work in conjunction with others in the research team to achieve the research project objectives within the required timeline.
  • To contribute to the production of research reports assist in preparing outputs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • To communicate information and ideas clearly to project team members when required.
  • To support engagement with internal and external contacts, building relationships to aid project delivery and future collaboration opportunities.
  • To continue developing skills and knowledge in research methods, qualitative analysis, survey design, and stakeholder engagement techniques.
  • Any duties appropriate to the grade and level of the post.

Skills and experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with clarity on complex information.
  • Evidence of sufficient breadth or depth of research methodologies and techniques to work in research area.
  • Developing research skills.
  • Ability to contribute to method improvement.
  • Analytical ability to facilitate conceptual thinking, innovation, and creativity.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with others, internally and externally.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • You will be able to build relationships and collaborate with others, both internally and externally.
  • Experience of working effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience working to tight deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
  • Experience writing reports.
  • BSc in Psychology or similar discipline.
