Role
We are looking to appoint an exceptional person to join the Postgraduate Administration team and provide a highly professional, proactive administrative support for research degrees within the Doctoral College (Tooting campus).

Duties and responsibilities
The post holder will be specifically responsible for supporting the alignment of policies and processes between the Clerkenwell and Tooting campuses, administering the examination process for Tooting doctoral researchers, and assist with studentships. They will need to be a highly organised and motivated individual who is able to work autonomously, and being comfortable liaising with students, staff and external examiners on key policies and processes.

Skills and experience

  • Experience of running complex administrative processes and systems
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team, and on own initiative
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload to meet strict and often overlapping deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and Canvas, as well as experience of using databases and a willingness to learn the use of new software
  • Familiarity with Student Records System e.g. SITS database
  • Highly organised, motivated, proactive and flexible
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Able and willing to ‘multi-task’
