Role
Unitemps are looking for experienced Exam Invigilators as Amanuensis and Readers.
We require 3 experienced University of Salford PGR students or PGR alumni to cover undergraduate RAP exams as Amanuensis and Readers on the 23rd, 27th, 28th, and 29th of April 2026 for the school of science , engineering, and environment. This is a one invigilator to one student RAP ( reasonable adjustment plan) examination.

Duties and responsibilities
- You will act as a scribe ( amanuensis) who writes down the words dictated by a student to answers to questions in an exam. The same person may act as an Amanuensis and other support roles such as Reader or Prompter if a student requires multiple as part of their reasonable adjustment plan
- You will act as a reader who reads/dictates questions in an exam to a student. The same person may act as a Reader and other support roles such as a Amanuensis, or Prompter if a student requires multiple as part of their reasonable adjustment plan
Skills and experience
•They must have a good standard of English and can read and write at a reasonable speed, accurately, with legible handwriting and punctuation

- Payment is based on hours worked. Scheduled hours are expected, though exams may run shorter or longer.
- SPARE/STUDENT ABSENCE: If your services are not required, 2 hours are paid, but you must remain available for at least 1 hour. If you do work, payment is based on actual hours worked from arrival.
