Role

Unitemps are recruiting for a Senior Teaching & Learning Administrator. This role is for a May 4th 2026 start date and has a projected end date of September 4th 2026. This is a full-time role at 36.5 hours per week. Payment is set at £23.11 per hour + £4.33 holiday pay. This role will be hybrid working with 2 days from the office and the other days from home.
 
The Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering is looking to recruit a Senior Teaching & Learning Administrator to join our Professional Services team. It is intended that the Teaching and Learning team will work together, as and when required, to deliver a professional service to all students and taught courses in the Department. We are proud of being a welcoming and vibrant community and this post is a key part of the team. The Department offers a number of innovative teaching programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, covering cutting edge themes and taught by world research leaders in their fields.

Duties and responsibilities

The role will include management for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students from enquiry to completion, incorporating organisation of committees and processes relating to assessment, student and course records, ensuring effective procedures are documented and adopted for dealing with all aspects of programme management. 
 
The post will lead in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students, and staff relating to the designated courses/programmes and beyond. 
 
The role will also involve line management of Teaching & Learning Administrators.

Skills and experience

  • Experience of administration in higher/further education or a teaching and learning environment is essential as is Course/Programme administration including dealing with student/customer enquiries. 
  • We are looking for candidates with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of people, including the ability to relate to staff and students in a teaching and learning context. 
  • The ability to prioritise and organise own workload is essential as well as the ability to work accurately and with thorough attention to detail.

*Experience using systems such as PORTICO and CMIS (for timetabling) is desirable.

UCL; hybrid working with 2 day per week from the office
