Role

To administer queries received into the SAP and Finance systems helpdesk to ensure they are quickly, completely and correctly processed to aid the helpdesk and functional and business analysts in the quick resolution of issues.

To complete ancillary and support activities for the team to let them concentrate on technical activities

Duties and responsibilities

1. Helpdesk tickets

  1. Initial response and prioritisation of helpdesk enquiries
  2. Track helpdesk tickets, chasing where appropriate according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  3. Closing out tickets
  4. Collating feedback where provided

 

2. Maintain users and security of SAP and OPeRA systems through the creation of new users and deletion of leavers and inactive users as appropriate, and associated off line processes that support security activity.

 

3. Manage SAP team email Mailboxes

 

4. Manage SAP team online spaces, to ensure web presence is updated in a timely fashion, user access is maintained, documents are correctly located;

  1. SiteBuilder
  2. SharePoint
  3. MS Teams
  4. Any other online space

 

5. Support the administration of the SAP Super User Group

 

Skills and experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels (Essential)
  • Ability to work flexibly and to deadlines across a wide range of potential user issues and demands (Essential)
  • Good IT skills, including experience of Microsoft desktop products used in a Windows environment, Email and the internet (Essential)
  • Good organizational abilities and skills (Essential)
  • An awareness of the main SAP processes (Desirable)
  • Ability to work well as part of a team (Essential)
  • Good planning and organisational skills (Essential)
  • Ability to work to deadlines (Essential)
  • Able to show initiative and personal motivation in the completion of tasks and projects (Essential)

Location
Hybrid, at least one day on site, however, probably around 3 days on site at the beginning
