About the Role
As a Nutritionist, you’ll be the expert voice on nutrition and special diets across our school contracts. You’ll play a key role in ensuring children receive safe, nutritious, and compliant meals—while also delivering engaging education programmes that inspire healthier choices.
Duties and responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and responding to special diet referrals, including allergies
- Creating and reviewing menus to meet School Food Standards
- Supporting nutrition-related queries from schools, parents, and stakeholders
- Delivering engaging nutrition education programmes and community initiatives
- Leading holiday projects and supporting school meal uptake
- Ensuring compliance with allergen legislation and internal standards
- Collaborating with public health teams and internal departments
- Contributing to marketing content and annual impact reporting
Skills and experience
- Degree in Nutrition (or equivalent)
- Registered Nutritionist or Dietitian (ANutr, RNut, or RD)
- Strong knowledge of allergen management and school food standards
- Confident presenter with excellent communication skills
- Passion for food, sustainability, and improving children’s diets
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload
- A collaborative team player with a creative mindset
