Role
Our prestigious client are looking for an Support Engineer to join their team during a 4 week project.
Working hours and days are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.
The location of work will be a High School in Stoke on Trent.
The successful candidate will need to have an enhanced DBS.
Salary for this position is £15 - £20 an hour depending on experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Desktop & Laptop Support
- Set up and configure devices
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues
- Manage user accounts for staff and students
- Wi-Fi & Network Support
- Ensure reliable wireless connectivity across the school
- Troubleshoot network issues (connectivity, access)
- Support basic networking (switches, routers, DHCP, DNS)
- Printers & Peripherals
- Resolve printer faults and connectivity issues
- Manage shared network printers
- Audio Visual (AV) Equipment
- Support projectors, interactive whiteboards, and classroom displays
- Assist staff with lesson technology setup
