Role
The National Robotarium are hosting work experience school pupils and as part of their experience they will be taking part in a treasure hunt across the Edinburgh campus. During this hunt, the team from the National Robotarium will need a small group of current Heriot-Watt students to help guide the school pupils around campus as well as providing hints to ensure they are able to complete the hunt in a reasonable time. 

We are recruiting students to work on either or both of the following days. Please indicate clearly on your cover letter which date(s) you can work:
Thursday 14th May 13:30 - 15:30
Thursday 11th June 13:30 - 15:30 
 

Duties and responsibilities
The guides will be expected to show school pupils around the Edinburgh campus and help guide them to certain places as indicated by the treasure hunt questions. Answers to all treasure hunt questions will be shared with the guides ahead of time to assist with this process. 

Skills and experience

  • Knowledge of the Edinburgh Campus and how to get to locations as needed. 
  • Confident speaking with a group 
Previous experience in giving campus tours as a Student Ambassador is desirable but not essential.
