CPRE is a network of county charities for campaigning and policy making. It campaigns to protect Englandʼs countryside, urban green spaces and rural life for the benefit of all. It is widely respected in the environment industry for its wide ranging, evidence-based, rigorous research. The Lancashire, Liverpool City Region & Greater Manchester Branch https://www.cprelancashire.org.uk/ is one of CPREʼs largest groups covering diverse countryside, rural areas and two major conurbations in the NW.

CPRE is passionate about the countryside, its green spaces and its natural environment. It is an organisation that works with the government to improve the countryside, urban green spaces and the natural environment. It achieves this by campaigning for change and by celebrating the right sort of developments in the right places. Whenever we find examples of success, we want to find out more about how this has been achieved, what is behind it, where did the money come from and how this could be replicated.
