Role

Unitemps are acting as an Employment Business, supplying temporary workers, in relation to this vacancy.

The role covers participant recruitment, onboarding, interviews, data capture, routine participant / customer support by phone, email, and video and escalation of issues in line with approved procedures.

The purpose of the role is to support safe, consistent and participant-centred delivery of the Controlled Launch by ensuring pilot customers are recruited, consented, interviewed and supported effectively and that high-quality data and operational insights are captured for review.

Outputs of the role

  • Screened and scheduled participants
  • Completed onboarding, 1-2 week and 4-week interviews
  • Routine support across phone, email, video and support channels
  • Accurate consent and data records
  • Timely issue escalation
  • Reliable participant communication and follow-up

Measures of performance

  • Interview milestones delivered to schedule
  • Accuracy and completeness of records; adherence to scripts, SOPs, confidentiality and escalation requirements
  • Responsive participant support
  • Effective team collaboration

Start Date: 27/04/26
End Date: End of August
Working Hours: 5 days a week/37.5 Hours
Pay Rate: £25,000 yearly
Location: Nottingham
Dress Code: Casual

Duties and responsibilities

  • Support recruitment and screening against eligibility criteria
  • Arrange onboarding and follow-up calls
  • Collect consent / assent forms and deliver approved interviews
  • Maintain accurate logs, documentation and trackers
  • Respond to routine participant / customer queries by phone, email, video and support platforms
  • Support video upload processes and participant follow-up
  • Capture feedback and recurring issues
  • Escalate complaints, adverse events, safeguarding concerns and deviations
  • Share insights with Research and Customer Experience teams to support continual improvement

Skills and experience

Experience

  • Experience in customer-facing or participant-facing coordination, interviewing or support experience is helpful but not essential
  • Comfortable communicating by phone, email and video
  • Handling confidential personal data
  • Accurate record keeping and working to defined processes or SOPs
  • Experience with neurodivergent individuals, adolescents or families is desirable

Technical knowledge and skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication, empathy, active listening, organisation and attention to detail.
  • Confident with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Teams, Forms, SharePoint), scheduling and data entry.
  • Able to learn device / app basics, follow interview scripts and use neutral non-medical language and correct escalation pathways
