Mind Connect Mental Health CIC provide mental health and wellbeing support across Liverpool to those that need it most. As part of this support, we offer free community sessions in Speke and Garston (South Liverpool) every week.
Duties and responsibilities
The Community Support Facilitator will help the team in our community hubs, by:
- Providing support at our group sessions
- Offering assistance and guidance to community members (where appropriate e.g., signposting)
- Supporting with creating wellbeing sessions and activities
- Helping with additional community events in the Liverpool area

Skills and experience
Ultimately we are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others. Some skills and knowledge that should come with that include:
- Active listening skills
- Empathetic skills
- Knowledge of the local area for signposting
- Basic knowledge of mental health conditions and issues
Some skills and experience, that isn't essential but would definitely help, includes:
- Mental health qualifications e.g., coaching, counselling skills, mental health first aid
- Working within community settings, in particular CIC's
- Experience using and creating designs on Canva, or similar
