Role
Duties and responsibilities
- To carry out programming tasks as required to ensure that the project milestones are met and to ensure all code is of a high quality and follows our style guidelines.
- To carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job as requested by the Principal Investigator and Line manager.
- To perform duties as required by the Head of the Department.
- At all times to follow UCL and Departmental policies including Equal Opportunities, Race Equality, Fire, Security and Health and Safety etc.
Skills and experience
- Knowledge & programming experience in Python or other high level programming language
- A Master’s degree in any relevant subject with expertise in spatial analysis and web visualisation
- Knowledge in public health, global health, and/or vaccination research
- Good reliability, motivation and organisational skills in the workplace, able to manage a varied workload whilst still being able to meet strict deadlines and displaying evidence of the ability to complete tasks and projects to a high standard with a minimum of supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in producing high quality publications, and presenting at scientific conferences
- Ability to work productively as part of a team
- A positive and flexible attitude with a willingness to take on new areas of application and to contribute on an equal footing to the development of the research.x
