Description
Role
The WAHEI Project based in the DEAR Centre and Education Studies (SELCS) is looking to recruit one Research Assistant to undertake project work supporting the project PI Prof. Emily Henderson in the production of a key report output of the project.
This assignment is for 100 hours total but could be extended, and will be until 31st July 2026.
This is on-campus work at the Warwick campus in Coventry; hybrid working would be considered. Applicants are welcome to apply and discuss travel/working arrangements at interview. The successful applicant to start as soon as possible.
Applicants are requested to attach an academic CV and a covering letter outlining their suitability for the role (suggested word count 500 words).
Duties and responsibilities
The post holder will be compiling information from a number of existing project reports produced by our state teams based across India and using that information to draft sections of a core “Synthesis Report”, as well as other tasks relating to the production of this report. The work may include assisting with other project activities where need arises.
Skills and experience
- Applicants should at a minimum be enrolled in a doctoral degree programme in education or a related field.
- Excellent communication, organisation, IT proficiency, report writing and research skills are essential.
- The successful candidate will have a high level of autonomous working capabilities.
