About Origin Origin is a small group personal training gym built around high-quality coaching, strong fundamentals, and real relationships. We help everyday people get stronger, move better, and build confidence in a supportive community environment. We’re not a big-box gym. We don’t throw new coaches in at the deep end. We believe in mentorship, standards, and developing great coaches properly.

Duties and responsibilities
This role is perfect for a newly qualified Personal Trainer who wants to build real coaching experience in a structured,supportive environment.* If you’ve recently gained your Level 3 PT qualification and:* Feel confident on paper but want more hands-on experience* Want mentorship instead of being left to "figure it out"* Care about coaching properly, not just counting reps* Want to develop long-term as a coach…then this role is built for you.You’ll start by supporting sessions, learning our coaching systems, and building confidence on the gym floor. As your skillsdevelop, you’ll progress into leading sessions and classes.What You’ll Be Doing*Coaching Development-Assist in small group personal training sessions-Learn how to coach movement safely and effectively-Develop confidence delivering cues, regressions, and progressions-Observe and learn from senior coaches/owners-Gradually take ownership of sessions*Member Experience-Welcome members and help create a positive training environment-Build rapport and learn members’ goals and limitations-Support members with motivation and accountability-Deliver a consistent, high-standard experience every session*Professional Growth-Receive structured feedback and mentoring-Attend team education sessions and meetings-Develop coaching presence, communication skills, and leadership-Work toward independently leading sessions.sessionsWhat We’re Looking For*Essential-Level 3 Personal Training qualification (newly qualified encouraged to apply)-Genuine passion for helping people improve-Strong communication skills and positive energy-Willingness to learn and accept feedback-Professional, reliable, and punctual*What You Do Need-You must train consistently yourself – you practise what you coach-A genuine interest in strength & conditioning and long-term athletic development-A desire to improve your own performance-To see Origin as your home of fitness — not just a workplace-Willingness to follow our programming and train as part of the team-Enthusiasm to take part in internal challenges and competitions with staff and membersWe believe great coaches live the culture. Skills and experience
Qualifications* Level 3 Personal Training qualification (essential)* First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)Subject Knowledge* Fundamental strength & conditioning principles* Safe exercise technique and movement standards* Understanding of regression and progression of exercises* Basic knowledge of programming structure for general population clientsKey Skills* Coaching Communication – Ability to deliver clear, concise instructions and cues in a group environment.* Movement Observation – Ability to spot technical errors and make appropriate corrections.* Relationship Building – Able to build trust and rapport quickly with members.* Professionalism & Reliability – Punctual, organised, and able to maintain high standards consistently.* Coachability – Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement. Experience* Newly qualified Personal Trainers are encouraged to apply.* Experience in a gym, sports, or team environment is beneficial but not essential.* Personal experience following structured strength & conditioning programmes is highly desirable.
