Description
Role
Research Degree course officer required to cover staff absence, providing additional support during applications and offer periods for PGR programmes.
Duties and responsibilities
- Triaging or responding to general inbox queries
- Supporting application, admissions and interview processes
- Assistance with management of Studentships and fees
- CAS issuance for students requiring visa sponsorship.
- Maintaining records for upgrades, progression and examinations
- Setting up examination vivas
Skills and experience
- Experience of working with student records systems, such as SITS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to a wide range of audiences.
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for delivering high‑quality customer service.
- Highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Awareness of the Higher Education sector and its expectations
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
