Role

Unitemps are recruiting for a Education Administrator within the Department of Law. The role is to work the date of 8th April 2026 and will run until 30th June 2026 full time at 36.5 hours per week. Payment is set at £19.14+ holiday pay per hour and the role will be CAMPUS based.

This role will be part of the Faculty Education Administration and Student Experience team, working with professional services and academic staff to deliver high-quality student support and experience to the UCL Laws student body, which numbers around 1250 students, divided between 850 undergraduate, 350 taught graduate, and 50 graduate research students.
 
We are recruiting a temporary Education Administrator to work as part of the Undergraduate Taught Programmes team to provide key operational support to designated taught degree programmes, assist in achieving a high quality and timely service to students and staff, and provide support for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students, including processes relating to assessment, student, and programme records.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Act as a first point of contact for students, providing advice and support on UCL and Faculty guidance
  • Support the main assessment period, with key tasks including script and mark checking, invigilation support, management of student assessment data, and communication with examiners and candidates in a timely manner
  • Assist with arrangements for Exam Boards, including the entry and distribution of marks to ensure the records of students are accurate and up to date
  • Assist with the co-ordination of start of session arrangements, such as supporting the administration of induction activities and scheduling, updating information on Moodle sites.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in an administrative role, within higher education in a teaching and learning environment,
  • Proficient in using digital platforms and MS Office
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines calmy under pressure, with close attention to detail and a flexible approach to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to high quality service standards and a customer-focused outlook,
  • Use initiative to solve problems and take a proactive approach in providing a high quality support service for students and staff. 
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues.

Location
Hybrid (4 days a week in the office)
