Role

Unitemps are recruiting for a Quality Assurance and Student Experience Coordinator. This role is for a May 1st start date and has a projected end date of August 31st 2026. This is a full-time role at 36.5 hours per week. Payment is set at £23.11 per hour + £4.33 holiday pay. This role will be UCL hybrid working with 2 days from the office and the other days from home.

Duties and responsibilities

The post holder is responsible for managing and coordinating Quality Assurance and Enhancement (QAE) activities and initiatives including student feedback and internal and external reporting requirements; overseeing relevant Engineering committees and governance; and assisting with quality assurance work in Engineering Sciences Departments. 

The post holder works collaboratively with the HESE, Director of Education and Student Experience (DESE), the Vice-Dean (Education) and the Faculty Graduate Tutor (FGT).

The duties and responsibilities of the role fall under the following main headings:

  • Student Experience
  • Committees and Governance

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following criteria:

  • Experience of administration in a Higher Education setting
  • Good organisation skills, with an ability to prioritise, work flexibly and to strict deadlines, manage own variable workload, and work independently
  • The ability to make and carry out decisions and know when to confer with colleagues or to refer matters onwards
  • Critical thinking skills including critical analysis and reasoning
