Role
The WBS Alumni CareersPlus Team provides a specialised careers service for Warwick Business School students alumni. We are looking for a Communications & Engagement Ambassador to play a crucial role in enhancing the engagement of our recently graduated PT MBA Students

Duties and responsibilities

Identify High-Impact Contributors

• Spot and recommend inspiring speakers, trainers, and industry professionals, including alumni from the cohort who can add value to alumni events and workshops.

• Suggest relevant, timely, and impactful topics for sessions based on the needs and interests of the cohort, which can be co-created and co-delivered with alumni from the cohort. 

Develop Engagement Strategies

• Design and implement a cost-effective and cohesive plan to improve engagement among recently graduated MBA cohorts (GLOMBA London & Warwick, ExecMBA London & Warwick).

• Use own knowledge of alumni preferences and community culture to create meaningful engagement touchpoints.

Collaborate with Marketing & Internal Teams

• Work closely with the Alumni Careers Manager and the WBS Marketing Officer to strengthen the reach and visibility of alumni career services.

• Contribute ideas that amplify participation and awareness across all communication channels.

Enhance Online Engagement

• Support the promotion of online activity by identifying innovative, creative ways to increase the visibility and reach of WBS posts.

• Help develop fresh approaches to digital engagement, including social media interaction, content sharing, and community-building activities.

Provide Support & Signposting

• Guide alumni towards relevant WBS support options such as one-to-one careers guidance, e-guidance, coaching opportunities, and online resources.

• Act as an approachable point-of-contact for fellow graduates with questions about careers offerings.

Champion WBS Initiatives

• Proactively share, like, and repost WBS content on LinkedIn and within your professional networks. Support the visibility of events, achievements, and opportunities that benefit the wider alumni community.

Skills and experience

Essential

WBS Exec MBA or GLOMBA from cohort (2025/26)

Prepared to work approximately 2 hours a week for this role from April to November (hours are flexible)

Excellent communication skills, including ability to build rapport with various stakeholders

Attention to detail 

Time-management  

Location
Combination of working from home (must be in the UK while working)
