Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with our prestigious client as an Data quality & IT Manager.
Working days and hours are Monday - Friday, 37 hours a week.
Supporting the practice to ensure all the QOF IIF and any other targets are being met using the Ardens and bespoke searches to monitor progress. Creating reports based on these searches to keep the practice informed of progress towards targets. Interrogating EMIS data to ensure the templates are being completed correctly to maximise income. Taking responsibility for all IT systems and ensuring staff are able to use all the practice systems effectively.
Duties and responsibilities
Information technology
- Ensure the practice IT systems are kept up to date and implement necessary changes
- Keep up to date with new developments to implement which could benefit the practice
- Maintain a log of all practice IT equipment
- Deal with IT problems
Data Management
- Monitor and keep track of all practice targets (QOF, IIF, QIF etc) reporting back to practice manager where targets are not being met.
- Run searches and monitor templates to ensure good data quality, reporting issues to relevant team leader and Practice Manager
- Run and devise searches on request of practice staff
- Review of patient records to ensure the data is correct and up to date
- Review of Ardens searches and ensure they are providing the correct information
- Support the Care Coordinator to run searches and recall of patients in long term conditions clinics
- Monitor of all practice targets and submit claims and declare achievements
