In 2026, Miss Macaroon marks an incredible milestone—15 years of transforming lives through baking a brighter future. Founded by Rosie Ginday MBE in the heart of Birmingham, Miss Macaroon has empowered hundreds of young people while delighting millions with our signature macaroons. This anniversary is more than a celebration; it’s a launchpad for the next chapter of social impact. On Thursday 19th of March at Anchor Point, we invite you to be part of an unforgettable black-tie fundraising gala dinner featuring a drinks reception, Indian family-style dining, entertainment, and an inspiring awards ceremony. This event offers a unique opportunity to champion our mission and help fund the future of Miss Macaroon.We are offering three Event Management students the opportunity to join the delivery team for this prestigious occasion. You will gain hands-on experience in the live execution of a large-scale corporate fundraising event, working directly alongside professional event managers to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Front-of-House Management: Managing the guest arrival experience, including VIP check-in.
  • Ceremony Logistics: Assisting with the movement of guests to the tables and directions around the venue.
  • Room Operations: Supporting the event managers with room dressing to ensure high aesthetic standards.
  • Fundraising: Assisting with the raffle and other fundraising activities.

Additional information
You must be available to work at the live event on Thursday 19 March 2026 from 4pm – 11pm. You must be available to attend a briefing with the client from 5-6pm.on Thursday 12 March via Teams. This is a paid role and you can expect to receive a reference for your CV and endorsement for your LinkedIn profile following the close of the event. UCB will pay for the cost of a taxi from the venue to your home after the event closes, upon production of a valid receipt. You will be provided with a UCB-branded hoodie to wear at the event which should be returned
