Role
*Ringfenced to level 5 and 6 LJMU Midwifery student*

We are seeking a motivated student to undertake a literature review for a research project Evaluating the Accuracy and Clinical Efficacy of Cervical Dilation Measurements.

Duties and responsibilities
Systematic Literature review:

• Establishment of key words - 2 weeks
• Inclusion/exclusion criteria – 2 weeks
• Finalising of search parameters – 1 week
• Selection of databases and finalisation of search strategy – 2 week
• Searches undertaken – 4 weeks• Refinement of findings (to be discussed and developed with the PI/CO’s) – 3 weeks
• Final papers presented, key themes synopsis written up - 4 weeks

Skills and experience
• Current Level 5 or Level 6 student midwife.

 
• Interest in research and evidence-based practice.
