Role
Our client is a well established Engineering company. They are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team as an Administrative / Director’s Personal Assistant, working closely with and shadowing our Administrative Director in the day-to-day running of the business.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to learn, grow, and gain exposure to multiple areas of business operations within a well-established process engineering company.
Duties and responsibilities
The Role
- You will work closely alongside the Administrative Director, assisting with and learning:
- HR administration and employee processes
- Payroll support
- Fleet management and vehicle coordination
- Insurance administration and renewals
- H&S, CE1090, and ISO audit preparation and compliance support
- Diary management and assisting with a busy director’s schedule
- Improving use of existing systems and bringing fresh ideas to streamline processes
- General administrative support across the business
There is also an opportunity to gain exposure to accounts and finance tasks for candidates who are interested in developing in this area.

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Confidence using office systems and digital platforms
- Someone keen to bring new ideas and help share the workload
