Role
Our client is a well established Engineering company. They are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team as an Administrative / Director’s Personal Assistant, working closely with and shadowing our Administrative Director in the day-to-day running of the business.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to learn, grow, and gain exposure to multiple areas of business operations within a well-established process engineering company.

Duties and responsibilities
The Role

  • You will work closely alongside the Administrative Director, assisting with and learning:
  • HR administration and employee processes
  • Payroll support
  • Fleet management and vehicle coordination
  • Insurance administration and renewals
  • H&S, CE1090, and ISO audit preparation and compliance support
  • Diary management and assisting with a busy director’s schedule
  • Improving use of existing systems and bringing fresh ideas to streamline processes
  • General administrative support across the business

There is also an opportunity to gain exposure to accounts and finance tasks for candidates who are interested in developing in this area.

Skills and experience

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Confidence using office systems and digital platforms
  • Someone keen to bring new ideas and help share the workload

Barleston, Stoke on Trent
