Description
Role
We are seeking a proactive and flexible Teaching Fellow to join our team supporting undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes at the University of Leicester. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with academic colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of physical chemistry teaching to students, reflecting the University’s commitment to inspiring education and student success.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be responsible for the delivery of lectures, tutorials and other classes supporting the chemistry taught degree programmes, undertaking marking and providing feedback to students. You will take direction from academic staff and contribute to locally agreed priorities, ensuring consistency and high standards of service.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have a PhD or equivalent in physical chemistry or closely related area, including evidence of the ability to teach physical chemistry at UGT level.
