Role
Unitemps are looking for an Alumni Communications Assistant – student role to support the Philanthropy, Alumni and Supporter Engagement Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a current student to get involved in actively communicating with our global community of over 230,000 alumni via social media and other channels, creating current and relevant content to cultivate a thriving community of alumni ambassadors who feel connection, pride and advocacy for Salford.
If you are passionate about creating content, building communities and learning new skills, we would love to hear from you! Applications are welcome from students from all courses and subject areas.
Duties and responsibilities
Duties:
- General communications support in the Philanthropy, Alumni and Supporter Engagement Team
- Creating content for social media, blogs, email and other communications
- Event support and general office support
Skills and experience
Experience:
- Good communication skills
- Social media content creating/editing/posting
- Flare for creative writing
- Experience of attending and being involved in events/student engagement activities
- Microsoft office experience
- Outgoing personality and can-do attitude
