Background:
Marshside Health Club Ltd ( trading as Swims’cool’ ) was founded in 1992 at Southport and Formby District General Hospital. What began with the owners passion for swimming has rapidly grown from strength to strength with Swims’cool’ welcoming over 10,000 swimmers over the last three decades and cementing its place as Southport’s leading swim school.
Mission:
At Swims’cool’ our mission is to share our love of swimming with everyone; we believe swimming is an essential life skill and a fantastic sport that should be enjoyed by all. Challenge Due to rising utility costs there is an urgent requirement to develop a Sustainability and Energy Reduction plan to support the long term future of the Swims Cool business
Duties and responsibilities
Main Duties:
To carry out a Feasibility Study to investigate the Benefits & Economics using Ultra Violate Light vs Chlorine technologies for Swimming Pool Water Cleaning.
Purposes:
Develop Energy saving / Sustainability ideas resulting from Local .Gov run Knowsley Leisure Centre best practice visit
